At Issey Miyake FW 2010
Just me traipsing around shamelessly advertising my designs.
The Issey Miyake show was amazing for me; from the garments and the hair and goggles the models were wearing to the orientation of the catwalk the collection was inspired by complex mathematical models that demonstrate the shape of the universe. It was artful, conceptual, and inspired, which is something I find to be lacking a lot lately in a lot of the shows I saw - strong development and inspiration. The color palette and textures were beautiful and contemporary, and refreshing after an endless stream of somber collections and black drapery.

Nostalgia pour Nasty Gal
Being so far away from home for such a long period of time, especially for the FIRST time in your life, you may run the risk of becoming nostalgic quite often. I find myself reflecting a lot about friends back at home, and my pride towards the things they've accomplished. Sophia of Nasty Gal, being one of those people who is always impressing me.
some of my favorite shots.
